The Owl in the Tree

Did you ever wonder why the Owl is referred to as being wise?  It is a nocturnal creature that spends it nights awake and alert, using its keen senses of sight and hearing.  It is graceful in flight and efficient in hunting.  The only sound you hear from them is the familiar “hoot”.  So what makes it wise?  Owls are patient.  They listen more than they “hoot”.  They take just what they need, quickly and quietly then return to their post sitting in the tree.  The lesson for me, listen more than speak.  Move gracefully, take what I need and be grateful.  Observe and learn, let everyone else do their own thing without judgement.

In Perfect Love and Perfect trust,

Gabriel
